Chike Aguh

(Chee-kay Ah-Goo) served as the Head of Economic Mobility Pathways at the Education Design Lab, where he led the Community College Growth Engine Fund. Chike is also a Fellow at the Harvard Carr Center for Human Rights Policy, and Partner at Maryland-based New Markets Venture Partners. He is a Lecturer at Columbia University and guest speaker at the University of Maryland’s School of Public Policy. Previously, Chike worked in education policy under the Mayor of New York; taught 2nd grade with Teach for America; and was a Fulbright Scholar in Thailand, director of corporate strategy at Education Advisory Board (EAB), and Senior Principal and Future of Work Lead at the McChrystal Group. He was also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations’ Future of Work Taskforce, advisor to the AI Education Project, and a Future of Work Fellow at the International Society for Technology in Education. Chike holds degrees from Tufts University (BA), Harvard Graduate School of Education (EdM), Harvard Kennedy School (MPA), and Wharton (MBA). He is a Presidential Leadership Scholar, 40 under 40 honoree from Wharton and the Washington Business Journal, and Advisory Board Chair of the Prince George’s County Social Innovation Fund. Chike, his wife, and their son proudly call Prince George’s County, Maryland, home.
